Trypanosoma cruzi

1F8 is the Trypanosoma cruzi calcium-binding protein (González et al., 1985). It is a 51KDa protein that does not have any internal repetition. It is one of the antigens from this parasite which has shown a greater sensibility in the evaluations described in the literature.

Recombinant antigen for the diagnosis of Chagas caused by Trypanosoma cruzi, a human and animal infectious disease (mainly dogs).
