IVD recombinant protein
for in vitro diagnosis
Features of Our IVD Recombinant proteins
The main features of our IVD recombinnat proteins are: versatility, validation, conjugation, reproducibility, wide range, specificity, sensitivity, technical support, cost reduction, and fast delivery. If you want more information, simply click on each of the features.
Our recombinant proteins are stored in buffers of great versatility, allowing their accessibility to various existing diagnostic platforms. Otherwise, our technical team will do its best to adapt the protein to your platform. Trust us. We will find the best solution for your system.
Many of our IVD reagents are validated through in-house ELISA assays, using pre-validated serum samples, both positive and negative.
Our conjugated proteins "ready-to-use" (monobiotinylated and HRP-conjugated) can be used for multiple purposes: plate orientation, binding to nanoparticles and gold, as detectors in capture formats. Additionally, in formats such as ELISA-capture or ELISA-DAS (Double Antigen Sandwich), they can be used directly to reveal your IVD test.
We guarantee the Lot-to-Lot consistency (reproducibility) of our products. We are certified in ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, which means that all our procedures are standardized, and we meet the quality requirements that any company would expect from an IVD reagent supplier.
Rekom Biotech offers a wide range of IVD reagents. We have numerous recombinant proteins for the IVD industry, aimed at the identification of infectious diseases in humans and animals, and allergies. We also offer polyclonal antibodies and immunoassay blockers for use in in vitro diagnostics.
At Rekom Biotech, we have specialized in the design and production of multi-epitope recombinant chimeric proteins that enhance their antigenic properties, such as sensitivity and specificity. In other words, next-generation IVD reagents that will make your diagnostic system stand out in the market.
We offer personalized technical assistance. Given our extensive experience in the sector and our strong technical capacity, we can offer you whatever you need, even if it's not on the market.
Focused on reducing the complexity of logistics and shipping costs, we freeze-dry all our IVD reagents. Freeze-drying significantly reduces transportation costs, as it does not require dry ice, and facilitates the entry of our product into a greater number of countries, without the need for intermediaries.
Our IVD reagents are available in liquid or lyophilized (dry powder) form. They will be shipped on dry ice if they are in liquid form, or at room temperature if they are in lyophilized form.
If the reagent is in liquid form, it must be aliquoted upon receipt to avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles and must be stored between -20°C and -80°C. Reagents must be kept frozen at high concentrations. If the reagent is in lyophilized form, upon receipt it must be stored between 4°C and -20°C in a vertical position, avoiding any possible moisture and keeping the vials dry. Once reconstituted, it must be stored as indicated above.
To thaw the product, keep the aliquot at 25°C without agitation to prevent aggregation.
Before making test dilutions and after the protein has thawed, to eliminate possible protein aggregates, it is recommended to centrifuge the original solution, avoiding alterations in the immobilization of the biomolecule to the solid surface.
During transport, small volumes of product may accumulate in the vial cap. For products with volumes of 200 µl or less, we recommend gently tapping the vial on a surface or briefly centrifuging the vial in a benchtop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid from the stopper. Although the proteins are expressed in non-pathogenic E. coli or P. pastoris, and bacterial integrity is destroyed during purification, the protein preparation should be handled as potentially infectious.
The reagents will be stable for a minimum of six years when the indicated storage conditions are met. After this time, retesting will be required.
